Pip’s foster describes her perfectly: “She’s a beautiful dog and soul- sweet, affectionate, a little chaotic at times, but just pure puppy joy. Any family that adopts Pip will be very lucky.”

Pip is a bright, affectionate young pup who’s equal parts cuddly companion and playful sidekick. She loves to spend her days chewing on toys, wrestling with her doggy sister, and soaking up every bit of attention from her foster family. She’s grown particularly fond of her 10 year old human “sister,” who she adores.

Though she’s still a puppy, Pip is already showing great manners and lots of potential. She’s crate trained, uses pee pads reliably, and is learning the ropes of leash walking inside the home. She knows how to respond to a gentle “no” and redirect to a toy when she gets the urge to nibble typical for a young puppy.

Pip is a sweet blend of independence and affection. She enjoys cuddling on her own terms but is never far from the action. She’s social and curious when meeting new people, warming up quickly with tail wags and excitement.

Around older, dog-savvy kids, she’s gentle and playful, and with continued guidance, she’ll likely thrive with younger children too.

When it comes to home life, Pip is a wonderful roommate, she’s quiet in her crate, respectful in her pen, and content entertaining herself when left alone for short periods. She sleeps soundly through most of the night, occasionally getting up for a quick drink before curling back into bed.

She’s currently thriving in a home with another dog, and we think she’d love a canine companion to keep her company, though she’d also do well as the star of the show. With her easygoing nature, she’d fit in beautifully in a house or apartment setting. Wherever her family can offer love, playtime, and patience as she continues to grow.

ABOUT YOU!
Puppies are a lot of work. At just 8 weeks old, we are looking for families who have FLEXIBLE work schedules and the time and energy to invest in socialization and training. Yes, Pip is tiny and oh-so-cute, but we can pretty much guarantee that she will:
-Pee and poop on your floor
-Chew your furniture
-Eat your designer handbag
-Ruin your leisurely Sunday morning sleep-in

As a condition of the adoption contract, their new families will be required to:

-Ensure they have an opportunity to go outside every 2-3 hours. If you work full-time, this means hiring a dog walker to come in 2x per day for a puppy visit.
-Attend and complete a basic obedience class at your own cost (proof required).
-Provide plenty of socialization opportunities – both dog and human – it's important at this stage.
-Spay/neuter within 6 months of adoption. If done at our partner vet in Mississauga, the spay/neuter will be included in the adoption fee. If you choose to do it elsewhere, it will be done at your own cost. Proof of spay/neuter is required to finalize the adoption.
